IP Aftercare Services
Make the Most of Your Trade Mark
Registering your brand as a trade mark is only the first step in implementing a successful IP strategy. Ensuring that others don’t copy your mark is the second. At Neo Percept IP we help protect your trade mark after it has been filed.
Our trade mark monitoring service provides you with the ability to watch what others are filing so that you can prevent a third party from registering a mark that is either identical or similar to yours.
We use artificial intelligence software to scan the UK Trade Marks Register daily so that we can identify any new trade marks that may conflict with yours. If a conflicting mark is flagged, you will receive a watch notification with details of the mark and information on your options for responding.
So that you can maintain the exclusivity of your mark! If another party can file a trade mark that is similar or identical to yours, there is a risk that members of the public may confuse your trade mark with a competitor’s trade mark. If this occurs, it can lead to a loss of potential sales and a weakening of your brand identity.
Prices start from £350+VAT* per mark covering one class for one year
The annual watching service is priced per mark and per class. We are able to watch the UK Trade Mark Register, EU or registers around the world. For a tailored quote, please get in touch.
Here at Neo Percept IP, we give you the knowledge, so that you have the power to stop someone from stealing your trade mark.

What Is a trade mark MOT service?
We offer an annual review of your current trade mark registrations and provide recommendations for strengthening your IP rights and generating an income from your IP.
Our annual trade mark MOT service includes:
As your business grows so does your IP. An important aspect of maintaining a good IP strategy is reviewing your existing trade mark registrations to ensure that you have sufficient coverage in identifying new IP assets that require protection.
If you don’t use it, you may lose it!
Once your trade mark has been registered for 5 years in the UK, a third party can request proof that you are using it concerning the goods and services covered in the registration. This means that if you have only been selling or providing some of your goods or services, your registration may be vulnerable to being partially revoked. If you have not used your trade mark at all, or cannot show sufficient evidence that you have used your trade mark, then you may risk your registration being fully revoked.
Being aware of how you are using your trade mark after registration is key for maintaining your trade mark.
In order for your trade mark to last forever; you need to renew it every 10 years. If you have purchased the IP Expert Package, when your trade mark is due for renewal, we will automatically notify you and advise you of your trade mark renewal date.
